Position: Registered Nurse - Full time Night Shift 7p-7a! SIGN ON BONUS $7,500!
Cedar Crest Hospital and RTC - Registered Nurse (7p-7a)

SIGN ON BONUS: $7,500

Purpose Statement:

Responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients with a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude to foster a supportive and therapeutic environment. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.

Essential Functions:
  • Assess physical and behavioral health needs, develop and implement care plans, maintain medical records, and educate patients and families about health conditions.
  • Provide nursing care within the scope of practice defined by state regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure physician’s orders are legible and transcribed correctly.
  • Continuously assess patient status and document pertinent information.
  • Collaborate to meet patients' physical, psychological, developmental, and cultural needs; address and resolve patient concerns.
  • Notify physicians of significant changes in patient status, such as medical emergencies or medication responses.
  • Develop and update individualized treatment plans upon admission.
  • Follow universal precautions in patient care.
  • Accurately administer medications and document controlled substance administration.
  • Complete admission and discharge processes efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and respectful rapport with patients.
  • Coordinate unit activities as directed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
  • Other Functions:
    • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
    Qualifications:
    • Graduation from an accredited nursing school required.
    • One or more years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
    Licenses and

    Certifications:
    • Current RN license as required by state.
    • CPR, de-escalation, and restraint certification (training provided upon hire).
    • First aid may be required depending on state or facility policies.
