OverviewThe Digital Deployment Specialist is responsible for deployment of assigned projects managed through the Solutions Architecture Center and the Project Delivery Center. This role assembles customer solutions off‑site, installs the Digital Deployment Package on‑site, performs factory testing, documents completeness, and executes remote commissioning for panel and controller level equipment. The specialist plays a pivotal role in implementing and managing a seamless deployment package of products and solutions for clients.
Key Responsibilities- Gather all documents required to enable a functioning system, including product licensing, firmware, panel, and controller databases, and provide technical files for third‑party integrations.
- Load programs to enable a functioning system: product licenses, firmware updates, panel programming, graphics, set IP addresses, configure jumpers, and label all materials.
- Test hardware loaded with software to ensure expected results, including I/O level testing, alarm messaging, and third‑party integrations.
- Perform quality assurance on the deployment package and hand over the solution to field technical resources.
- Ensure customer expectations are met by resolving issues promptly, professionally, and updating the cloud‑based project site with testing results and documents.
- Receive and track work via workflow management software and provide remote commissioning of panel and controller logic when remote connectivity is available.
- Act as a technical resource for SAC and field resources.
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 5+ years of experience in Building Automation, Fire Systems, or Security systems.
- On‑job experience with engineering fundamentals, construction methods, Internet of Things, and API integrations.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without company sponsorship.
- Position requires full vaccination against COVID‑19 where permitted by law, with accommodations for protected reasons.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or another related technical field.
