Qualifications Minimum skills and qualifications:4 years or more of IT Delivery and/or Operations experience4 years or more of writing SQL queries4 years or more of managing Oracle databases in a Unix/Linux environment

Possess excellent verbal and written communications skills

Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Bachelors Degree or 4 additional years experience in lieu of degree

Able to work flexible schedule/weekends if needed

Preferred skills and qualifications:

Experience with Oracle Exadata

Experience with managing Oracle databases in a RAC and non RAC environment

Experience with applying Oracle patch in an Oracle Exadata RAC environment

Certified Oracle DBAIT Operations experience in a Homeland Security or Law Enforcement environment

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the operations and maintenance of the Oracle Databases in a RAC and non RAC environment

Assist in troubleshooting database issues

Assist in database performance tuning

Responsible for installing and configuring databases

Responsible for RMAN backup of databases

Responsible for applying quarterly Oracle database patch and database upgrade
