Dental Assistant – Spherion Staffing South Central WI & Northern IL

Spherion is currently hiring for two Dental Assistant positions for a family-focused dental office. We are looking for skilled, confident assistants who are dependable, adaptable, and motivated. If you fit this description, we would love to hear from you.

• Direct Hire
• Pay rate: $20-26/hr
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – 9 AM–5 PM;
  Tuesday – 11 AM–7 PM;
  Wednesday – 10 AM–6 PM;
  Thursday – 9 AM–5 PM;
  Friday – 9 AM–5 PM;
  Saturday – 9 AM–1 PM; (rotating off Wednesday or Friday)
  * no summer Saturdays (June, July, August)
• Location:
  
  Belvidere, IL

• Prepare treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials for procedures
• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatments, including x-rays and charting
• Use Dentrix software for scheduling and documentation
• Fabricate denture, polish chrome, and apply sealants (certification preferred)
• Educate patients on procedures, oral hygiene, and post-care
• Maintain cleanliness, sterilization, and compliance with health regulations
• Manage supplies and support front‑and‑back‑office efficiency
• Work independently while taking clear direction from the dental team

• Experience in a family dental setting
• A strong, confident personality that works well both independently and in a team
• Ability to take direction and adapt to the needs of a fast‑paced practice
• Dentrix experience is required
• Coronal polishing certificate is a plus
• X‑ray certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Dental Assisting program preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
