Behavior Aide – $2,000 Sign‑on Bonus
Join Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of Full Bloom, as a Behavior Aide. This role includes a $2,000 sign‑on bonus.

- Work in a setting with diverse students from varying developmental, cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Work one‑on‑one with an assigned student to meet goals set in their IEP, providing accommodations and modifications as necessary.
- Assist in the development and modification of behavior support plans.
- Implement behavior support plans and record data on behaviors and progress toward goals.
- Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
- Implement de‑escalation techniques, crisis management, and physical restraint if necessary.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages appropriate social and behavioral skills.
- Supervise students and ensure they are monitored, including to and from appropriate school locations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for consistent implementation of plans.
- Provide personal care support based on student needs.
- Communicate effectively with parents.
- High school diploma.
- Experience working in an educational setting implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs (preferred).
USD $18.44 – $18.44 /hr.
Physical Requirements- Ability to run short distances and move swiftly in response to student needs, including bending, kneeling, and crouching.
- Ability to lift students with mobility challenges up to 50 pounds.
- Skill in fine motor tasks such as helping students with writing or adaptive devices.
- Capacity to operate a computer or tablet for up to 8 hours daily.
- Capacity to recognize and respond to non‑verbal cues from students.
- Capacity to remain calm in physically and emotionally demanding situations, ensuring student safety.
