Your Role In Our Team

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will support day‑to‑day Human Resources activities while fostering an employee‑oriented, high‑performance culture that aligns with WITRON’s core values of equality, empowerment, goal attainment, and health and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with all aspects of employee relations and HR administration for site employees
  • Maintain accurate employee records and respond to employee questions and concerns
  • Facilitate onboarding sessions for new hires, ensuring completion of all employment documentation
  • Support general administration of compensation and benefits
  • Report and distribute key site statistics and indicators as prescribed by the Site Manager
  • Participate in HR projects to support corporate initiatives at the site level
  • Assist the Site Manager with administrative tasks as needed
  • Ensure timely and fair handling of employee concerns and support health and safety assessments and escalations
  • May be required to work and travel outside of normal business hours
  • Other duties as assigned to support efficient site operations

Detail‑oriented, proactive, and professional HR practitioner who thrives in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. Strong communication, discretion, and integrity are essential. You adapt quickly, organize effectively, and support a positive workplace culture rooted in fairness, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
  • Post‑secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in a Human Resources‑related role
  • Strong working knowledge of employment legislation and workplace best practices
  • Experience in recruiting, payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience working in unionized and non‑unionized environments (asset)
  • Exposure to workplace committees and employee engagement initiatives (asset)
  • Experience with payroll systems and timekeeping processes (asset)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization
  • Adaptable and proactive in a fast‑paced, multitasking environment
  • Committed to supporting a fair, inclusive, and continuously improving workplace culture
  • Collaborative mindset with willingness to support administrative and employee‑facing tasks
Compensation

This is a full‑time, salaried position with a competitive annual pay range of $50,000 – $60,000 USD
