Senior Care Assistant at Hartford Care

Compensation: £3,000 attraction payment – £1,500 on joining and £1,500 after probation. Licensed for direct applicants only. T&C's apply.

Employment Type: Day Shifts / 36 hours per week.

As a Day Senior Care Assistant, you will provide high‑quality, individualized care and support to residents during the day, promoting privacy, dignity and independence. You will supervise and lead the shift and team members, creating a happy and caring atmosphere.

During your shift, you will:

• Carry out direct observation and support residents during meals, activities, handovers and dressing.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and ensure smooth communication between shifts.
• Lead and motivate staff, delegating tasks efficiently.
• Provide compassionate, warm and patient care, with a sense of humour.

• Experience: At least 2 years as a Care Assistant in residential care.
• Qualification: Completed or currently undertaking an L3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills, IT competency.
• Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate staff members.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Values: Shared passion for caring, warmth and responsibility.
