• Serve clients with diverse tax needs as a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional, with support from an expert team and advanced tax training to help you succeed.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email)
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
  • All certification levels can provide tax notice services
  • Circular 230 associates can provide audit representation
• Mentor and support teammates

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort working with virtual tools (video, phone, and chat)
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher

The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. Individual pay decisions depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location. Qualifying associates can enroll in medical and prescription drug coverage; participate in the H&R Block Retirement Savings Plan (401(k)); access the Employee Assistance Program and associate discount programs; are automatically enrolled in Business Travel Accident Insurance;

and receive the Associate Tax Prep benefit.
