- Provide advanced nursing care to patients of all ages, from infants to older adults.
- Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic illnesses.
- Conduct comprehensive physical exams and health assessments.
- Obtain and interpret patient histories and diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications and therapeutic treatments within the scope of practice.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide health education and counseling on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Manage follow-up care and coordinate referrals to specialists when needed.
- Perform minor procedures as appropriate (e.g., wound care, suturing).
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record system.
- Participate in quality improvement and practice initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
- Maintain current knowledge of evidence-based practice guidelines.
- Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in each state of practice.
- Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe controlled substances in each state of practice.
- State Controlled Substance License (if required by State).
- National board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC).
- Obtains and maintains required competencies and certifications as outlined on privilege form.
- Privileging documents and related credentialing requirements will supersede this job description where variation exists.

CompensationCompensation details:
Annual compensation range (based on 1.0 FTE): $91,000-$128,291. Actual offers vary based on education, training, certification, experience, scope of practice, and job requirements.
