About the Role

As a Licensed Practical Nurse in a 16‑bed inpatient psychiatric facility, you will provide nursing care, medication management, and patient education under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Your focus will be on stabilizing patients, supporting therapeutic relationships, and facilitating discharge planning with community resources.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments, monitor vitals and treatment responses.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and care plans.
• Support patients in achieving treatment goals and enhancing functional independence.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Licensed as a Practical Nurse in Minnesota (or eligible to obtain licensure).
• Graduates within six (6) months of earning a degree and taking the NCLEX‑LPN may receive contingent job offers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in mental health or behavioral health settings.
• Prior work with adult inpatient treatment or secure facilities.

• TB-free documentation via blood test required (no skin test).
