Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of recent ER experience and a MN RN license.

• Active MN state RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience required
• Experience in an ED with annual visits around 28,000 or higher preferred
• Trauma level III or higher experience preferred
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and TNCC

• Level III trauma Emergency Department with 15 beds, 4 fast track rooms, and 1 triage area
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:3 to 1:4
• 12-hour shifts, rotating days, evenings, and nights
• Every other to every third weekend required
• Floating to Medical-Surgical units as needed
• No on-call requirement and never works alone
• Uses EPIC and Accudose charting/dispensing systems
• Responsible for implementing the full nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, care planning, intervention, evaluation, and documentation
• EPIC and Accudose training provided during orientation
• Navy blue scrubs required
• All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• Accepts local candidates within an 80-mile radius at an adjusted rate
• Candidates with prior Sanford Health employment must disclose this and must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission
