Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of recent ER experience and an active MN RN license.

• Active MN state RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years recent ER experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and TNCC
• Trauma level III or higher experience preferred
• BSN not required for this position

• Level III trauma ED with 15 beds, 4 fast track rooms, and 1 triage area
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:3 to 1:4
• Annual ED visit volume around 28,000 or higher
• 12-hour shifts on a rotating day, evening, and night schedule
• Every other to every third weekend required
• Floating to Medical-Surgical units as needed
• Uses EPIC EMR and Accudose, with training provided during orientation
• Never works alone and no on-call requirement
• Implements the full nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and documentation of patient care
• Must badge in and out at the facility
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Candidates who previously worked for the health system must have an end date at least 6 months prior to consideration
• Local candidates considered, with a radius-based bill rate adjustment for those within 80 miles of the facility
