Saratoga Medical is hiring Nursing Supervisors for onsite opportunities in Bemidji, Minnesota
. This is a contract opportunity at a long-term care facility serving veterans, with a possible extension.
Saratoga Medical has an exciting opportunity for a Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing staff and daily nursing operations.
Requirements- Current CPR/BLS certification
- 3+ years of long-term care nursing experience, including 1+ year in a supervisory or charge role
- Knowledge of 42 CFR Part 483 and Minnesota long-term care rules
- Ability to pass the Minnesota DHS background study and criminal background check
- TB screening and immunizations
40 hours/week onsite, plus on-call and after-hours consultations.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs/TMAs
- Handle staffing assignments, rounding, and changes in residents' conditions
- Maintain survey readiness and plans of correction
- Monitor high-risk areas, including falls and pressure injuries
- Complete incident reporting under the Vulnerable Adults Act
- Transfer knowledge to permanent staff
