Overview

Patient Care Coordinator

Location: Bend, OR
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Compensation: $20 – $26 per hour (DOE)

Timber Kids Dentistry is seeking an experienced Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing pediatric dental team in Bend, OR. This role is ideal for seasoned front-office professionals who have worked in a healthcare setting and thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. Dental experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients and families, in person and over the phone
  • Manage scheduling, confirmations, and patient flow efficiently
  • Verify insurance benefits and assist with basic billing and financial conversations
  • Maintain accurate patient records and demographic information
  • Coordinate check-in and check-out processes
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with parents and caregivers
  • Support smooth daily front-office operations in collaboration with the clinical team
Qualifications

You will be required to possess the following:

  • Prior front desk experience in a healthcare setting (dental strongly preferred)
  • Experience with scheduling, insurance verification, and patient coordination
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a busy pediatric environment
  • Professional, dependable, and team-oriented mindset
  • Familiarity with dental terminology and practice management systems is a plus
