Guided by the principles and best practices of the American Academy of Pediatrics and aligned with COPA’s mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures, the Acute Care Pediatrician focuses on the timely evaluation and management of acute illness and injury in the primary care setting, bringing and maintaining pediatric acute care skill sets within COPA while supporting each child’s relationship with their medical home.
Beyond caring for individual patients, the Acute Care Pediatrician plays an integral role in improving the health of children throughout our community.
