Base pay range: $95,200.00/yr - $/yr.
Location:
Any location in the United States. Ideally near a Jacobs U.S. office.
As an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer you will be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks. You will develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, document and model design information, and ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver world‑class solutions for new facilities and provide on‑site assistance during startup while coordinating work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering
- At least 6 Years of experience working with Instrumentation and Control
- Working knowledge of PLC, DCS, and other controls applications
- Engineer in Training (EIT)
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
- Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi‑disciplinary teams
- Passion for buildings and construction
- Experience mentoring Junior professionals or leading small teams
- Experience with Data Center Design
