SummaryThe Ash Group is hiring an Electrical Engineer for a high‑tech aerospace and defense contractor. This is a Hybrid 6‑month contract role based in Bend, OR
, offering a competitive pay rate of $56.00 per hour. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and typically 6+ years of relevant experience in design, development, and testing of cutting‑edge products, from analog and digital circuit card assemblies to fully integrated aerospace and defense systems.
- Compensation: Competitive pay rate of $56.00 per hour.

- Duration: 6‑month contract.
- Location: Hybrid in Bend, OR

- Conceptualize and design new products and processes across the entire product lifecycle, ranging from analog and digital electronic circuit card assemblies to fully integrated systems.
- Apply and demonstrate advanced knowledge of engineering principles and practices to research, design, develop, and test cutting‑edge products.
- Collaborate effectively within multi‑disciplinary design and development teams for systems that cover mission payloads, electronic systems, and space exploration equipment.
- Support the product lifecycle from initial design through deployment and improvement, ensuring the solution meets performance and certification requirements.
- Utilize Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) tools to facilitate design work and problem‑solving.
- Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline.
- Typically 6 or more years of relevant experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices and experience using Computer Aided Engineering tools
. - Experience working in multi‑disciplinary design & development teams.
- Preferred experience includes digital or analog circuit design and schematic capture, as well as an understanding of the printed circuit board (PCB) layout process and tools.
- Familiarity with specialized design requirements such as HIRF/IEL and Electro Magnetic Effects (EME), including EMC and EMI
