Young Electric LLC is a two-generation Electrical Contractor that has been providing commercial and residential electrical services in the Portland area for over 20 years. Our licensed and bonded electricians are skilled in commercial and residential construction, alterations, design/build, and service. We are known for our experience, attention to detail, and commitment to completing projects on time and within budget.
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Controller, located in Portland, OR. The Controller will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting. Day-to-day tasks include preparing financial statements, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Controller will also be involved in strategic planning, financial forecasting, and supporting the company's overall financial health.
Qualifications- Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting
- Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes
- Proficiency in financial forecasting and strategic planning
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification is a plus
- Experience in the construction or electrical contracting industry is beneficial
