Opportunity:

CT Technologist - Swing

Job Details:

• Swing shift position working Wednesday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, plus one day shift every other weekend

• 40 orientation hours required

• Minimum 1 year of experience required

• Trauma Level II experience required;
Trauma Level I experience preferred

• Community hospital experience preferred

• Epic EMR charting system experience required

• Required certifications: ARRT CT, BLS

• Operate GE CT scanners and Sectra PACS system

• Perform a wide range of CT procedures including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, lumbar, thoracic, cervical, and soft tissue neck with and/or without contrast

• Perform advanced imaging including brain perfusion, coronary CTA, vascular CTA, carotid studies, CT arthrography, and myelography

• Perform 3D rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering

• Conduct specialized procedures including colonography, enterography, and transplant studies

• Provide care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Experience in adult and pediatric acute care and outpatient settings required

• Proficiency in preparation and administration of contrast media, venipuncture, and starting peripheral IVs required

• Experience with radiation safety, isolation precautions/PPE, and multiplanar reconstruction required

• Emergency department and ICU experience required

Facility:

This hospital is a well-established healthcare facility with 240 beds and 3 CT imaging rooms, serving a daily census of approximately 120 patients. The facility provides comprehensive care across multiple patient populations and age groups, supported by modern imaging technology including GE CT scanners and Sectra PACS. The organization maintains a high standard of care with interdisciplinary support and a strong focus on trauma and emergency services.
