Opportunity:

CT Technologist - Swing

Job Details:

• Swing shift position working Wednesday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM

• One day shift every other weekend required

• Minimum 1 year of experience required

• Epic charting system experience required

• Community hospital experience preferred

• Trauma Level I experience preferred;
Trauma Level II experience required

• Required certifications: ARRT CT, BLS

• Operate GE CT scanners with Sectra PACS and Epic EMR

• Perform a wide range of CT procedures including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and soft tissue neck imaging with and/or without contrast

• Perform advanced imaging including brain perfusion, coronary CTA, vascular CTA, carotid studies, and cardiac imaging such as calcium scoring

• Perform specialized procedures including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, colonography, enterography, and myelography

• Conduct CT arthrography, musculoskeletal trauma imaging, and transplant studies

• Provide care for a broad range of patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics

• Serve patients across Emergency Department, ICU, adult acute care, adult outpatient, pediatric acute care, and pediatric outpatient settings

• Perform venipuncture and start peripheral IVs

• Prepare and administer contrast media

• Adhere to radiation safety and isolation precaution/PPE protocols

• Apply region of interest measurements and maximum intensity projection techniques

Facility:

This is a community hospital facility with a daily census of approximately 120 patients and 240 beds. The imaging department features 3 CT rooms equipped with GE CT scanners and utilizes Sectra PACS for image management. The facility supports a comprehensive range of patient care needs across multiple service lines, including emergency, ICU, and outpatient services, and operates as a Level II Trauma Center.
