Operate washing and drying machines to wash, dry, and fold the linens, blankets, and similar items for Hotel/Guest use.

• Unload and sort soiled linen. Load machines with the proper amount of soiled linen.
• Unload washers and load dryers.
• Sort and fold clean linen.
• Oversee the proper operation of the washers and dryers.
• Keep the laundry room clean and orderly.
• Complete other duties as assigned to include cross training.
• Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position.
• Treat others with respect and behave in a manner that is positive, productive and encourages teamwork at all times.

• Lift and carry average weight of 20 lbs frequently, maximum weight frequently 50 lbs.
• Standing/walking up to two miles per day on cement, tile, asphalt, and carpet.
• Reaching/overhead extension to pull items down. Pushing and pulling average weight frequently 50 lbs, maximum weight 150 lbs.
• Repetitive motions of bending, stooping, and twisting.

• Working with and exposed to fumes, chemicals, vibrations, humidity, cold, heat, dust, and noise.
• Must adhere to the Hotel’s safety standards and procedures (e.g., hearing, eye, hand protection for equipment operation.)

• Effectively manage time.
• Ability to communicate with guests as well as management and team members.
• Ability to work under time constraints, and in a fast‑paced environment.
• Follow all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve all standards of operation.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Meets or exceeds productivity standards.
• Previous hotel laundry or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Must pass criminal background check.
