* POSITION SUMMARY:
**** The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) II will be a pivotal member of the IT Retail & Supply Chain teams, responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and operational excellence of our retail solutions. This role will lead efforts in process definition, requirements gathering, and analysis with a strong focus on improving customer experience, increasing in-store productivity, and supporting aggressive business expansion through organic and acquired growth.
The BSA II will champion a product/service operating model approach, ensuring that retail operational initiatives and solutions align with strategic business objectives and deliver measurable value.

* PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
**** 60% -*
* **** Strategic Improvements & Solution Leadership:***
* **** Business Analysis, Requirements Definition, Business Process Analysis, Gap Analysis, and Solution Evaluation
***** Leads and coordinates discovery activities with business owners to gather detailed requirements and expected outcomes through interviews, documentation, and facilitated working sessions, with a specific emphasis on enhancing customer experience and store productivity.
* Leads analysis of requirements to determine the systems’ potential and defines the impact to other business units and systems while providing strategic input to the development effort.
* Identifies and quantifies business opportunities, providing clear justifications for initiatives that support business expansion and operational efficiency.
* Provides comprehensive cost/benefit analysis, risk assessment, and scope definition of proposed requirements, aligning them with the overarching retail strategy.
* Assists with defining and documenting project scope and business requirements for complex retail initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
* Manages changing requirements and associated documentation, ensuring clear communication and impact assessment across all stakeholders.
* Participates in and often leads solution evaluations, including evaluation of third-party products and/or custom development options and technical requirements, always seeking optimal solutions for retail operations.
* Helps design new solutions by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; and writing detailed specifications that drive customer experience improvements and productivity gains.
* Identifies and understands broader business impact and determines solutions and/or escalates issues when appropriate, considering the end-to-end retail ecosystem.
* Creates process models based on business requirements in order to determine the completeness of the information and process components; including defining current ('as is') and future ('to be') business process states, with a focus on optimizing retail workflows.

* **** Operational Strategy & Support:***
* **** Activity Coordination and Execution
***** Leads individual projects or sub-project tasks affecting single or multiple business and IT departments, ensuring operational readiness and smooth deployment of retail solutions.
* Identifies, analyzes, proposes, and documents appropriate solutions for problems and issues that may impact a current business process, designing improvement suggestions that enhance operational efficiency.
* Defines and articulates business rules required for improving or resolving data quality issues, ensuring data integrity across retail systems.
* Facilitates and performs ‘light’ testing by developing and executing unit/system test cases, scripts, and plans to ensure original requirements are met and solutions are robust for retail environments.
