Real Estate Finance Attorney

Busy Portland, OR law firm is seeking a Real Estate Finance Attorney for their team.

• Can be a mostly remote role with periodic travel to Portland required.
• Draft and negotiate loan documents, purchase and sale agreements, leases, and other related documents.
• Conduct due diligence and provide legal advice on real estate financing transactions.
• Research and analyze legal issues related to real estate financing.
• Communicate and work directly with the existing book of clients as well as lenders, and other parties involved in transactions.
• Participate in business development activities and assist with marketing initiatives.

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school is preferred.
• Admitted to the bar in good standing in Oregon, Washington and/or Idaho.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate financing transactions, with a specific need for heavy loan documentation experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Quick partner track and ability for dedicated team members to directly inherit clients.
