WhatYou’ll Do
As a member of the Tooling department, the Tooling Technician will help to fabricate, assemble, and repair various types of composite mold tooling. The technician will work with a variety of composite materials, hand tools, and power tools such as grinders, saws, and sanders. Other expectations may include:
- Use dimensional measurement tools
- Lay‑up composite materials
- Vacuum bag and consolidate materials
- Read blueprints, templates, process sheets, and other authorized documents
- Develop shop aids to facilitate the fabrication of composite parts
- Perform repairs
- Maintain electronic and paper records as required
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is helpful
- Proficient and comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools
- Able to take accurate measurements
- Previous experience working with composite materials is a plus, but not required
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to maintain a high degree of quality
- Must work well independently and in a team with a great attitude

- Reliable and dependable
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future
- Entry‑level to experienced aerospace manufacturing position
- Competitive wages: $20‑$25/hr, depending on experience
- On‑the‑job training and advancement opportunities
- Shift: Monday‑Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm or 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
- Three weeks of paid time off, including a paid week off between Christmas and New Year
