American Traveler is hiring a Progressive Care Unit RN for a night shift assignment requiring Level II Trauma experience and Epic proficiency.

• PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown work setting within a Level II Trauma facility
• 13-week assignment on night shift (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Patient ratio of 1:3
• Floating required within scope to Med/Tele, PCU, and ED Boarding as needed
• Wide range of PCU-level clinical care including cardiac monitoring, neurological, respiratory, renal, and post-surgical care

• Active RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required
• Level II Trauma experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Two professional references from positions held within the past year, with at least one from a manager
• Complete 7-year work history required with no employment gaps greater than 30 days
• Education details required for all degrees earned, including area of study, degree type, and institution location

• Provide skilled nursing care across a broad range of PCU specialties including cardiac, neuro, respiratory, renal, and post-surgical patients
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to qualify as a traveler, with proof of permanent address required
• Maximum of 7 total days of RTO allowed within the 13-week assignment
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Facility-required orientation modules must be completed and are renewed annually
