American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a Level II Trauma Operating Room, requiring 3 years of OR experience including Ortho Trauma and Craniotomy cases.

• Operating Room setting within a Level II Trauma Center
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• On-call requirement of 2 weeknights every 6 weeks plus one weekend (Saturday and Sunday) every six weeks, 12-hour day or night shifts
• Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs
• 13-week assignment length

• Active RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification; CNOR preferred
• Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Ortho Trauma, Craniotomy, Trauma, and Trauma Level II cases required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• First-time travelers considered if they meet the 3-year experience requirement

• Perform circulating and scrub duties across a wide range of surgical specialties including vascular, gynecology, plastics, neurology, trauma, orthopedics, general surgery, and more
• Experience with robotic surgical systems such as Da Vinci Xi and Mako may be utilized
• Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel consideration
• Proof of address required to confirm distance eligibility
• Maximum of 7 total RTO days permitted during the 13-week assignment
• Pending license status considered on a case-by-case basis
