American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a Trauma Level II facility, requiring 3 years of OR experience with hardstop skills in Ortho Trauma, Craniotomy, and Trauma procedures.

• Operating Room unit in a Trauma Level II hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:30
• On-call requirement of 2 weeknights every 6 weeks and one weekend (Saturday and Sunday 12-hour shifts) every 6 weeks
• 13-week assignment length
• Epic EMR experience required

• Active RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; CNOR preferred
• Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience required
• 2 years of hands-on experience required in Ortho Trauma, Craniotomy, Trauma, and Trauma Level II procedures
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Pending license accepted on a case-by-case basis

• Scrub and circulate across a wide range of surgical specialties including vascular, gynecology, plastics, neurology, trauma, orthopedics, general surgery, urology, ENT, and robotics
• Perform universal protocol time-out procedures, specimen handling, and infection control practices
• Work in General OR and Hybrid OR settings supporting trauma cases
• Facility modules completed during orientation and renewed annually, with requirements varying by specialty
• First-time travelers considered if they meet the 3 years of required experience
• Local candidates not accepted; must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility with proof of address required
• Maximum of 7 total days of RTO permitted during the 13-week assignment
