Description:

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience.

One full year of permanent ICU experience is required.

Epic experience is required for this position.

Weekend duty is determined by the needs of the unit and may include consecutive shifts.

Certifications required include ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS.Experience in Trauma Level II is necessary.

Candidates may be required to float to other ICUs, stepdown units, or emergency departments based on facility needs.

Candidates may float to various locations.

They may also be used as sitters when required.

This position does not require on-call duty.

The role involves managing critical care situations, including trauma and post-operative care.

The candidate should possess essential skills such as arterial line management and care of ventilated patients.

Other critical skills include central line care, management of dysrhythmias, and advanced cardiac monitoring.
