Retail Merchandising Specialist – Part-time
We are looking for a motivated Retail Merchandising Specialist to support technology and consumer electronics brands across a designated territory. This part‑time role offers a flexible schedule, paid training, and a weekly pay cadence.
What We’ll Support You- Dedicated BDS Field Manager
- Paid virtual and in‑store training
- Instructional videos available through a user‑friendly app
- Live virtual call center for support
- Travel to assigned retail stores to conduct visits within your territory
- Audit, maintain, and install consumer electronics displays (TVs, tablets, headphones, speakers, printers, phones)
- Partner with team members on 2–3 person projects such as appliance or TV installs
- Build and maintain positive in‑store relationships
- Complete assignments as directed by your BDS Manager
- Submit reporting on time from your mobile device
- Schedule and complete work per BDS Standards and Expectations (provided during onboarding)
- Receive or pick up materials at Fed Ex and transport to stores as requested
- Perform additional tasks as requested by management
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Previous merchandising, customer service, or retail experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills
- Proficient with Android or Apple smartphone/tablet (GPS, photo upload, mobile app use)
- Basic toolkit ownership (toolkit cost reimbursed after probation)
- Completed BDS online training courses before in‑store work
- 18 years or older, legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability to pass background check and MVR check
- Must be able to meet all pre‑employment requirements, including safety training for moving equipment
- Flexible availability:
Monday–Friday, early morning to midday, occasional weekends - Minimum 20 hours per week, 20‑hour weeks possible under full‑time if needed
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, proof of auto insurance
- Capable of traveling within a 60‑mile radius of the market; company pays drive time and mileage between store locations
- Regularly stand, walk, bend over, reach overhead, crouch, kneel, balance, grasp, push or pull, talk, hear, and drive
- Regularly lift and carry 40+ pounds
- Climb a ladder greater than 10 feet
- Complete certification (online and in‑store) to use moving equipment (e.g., forklifts) when required
- Occasional travel by flight or other modes of transportation
