All About StyleA team of specialized consultants who understand what it means to meet our guests where they are and deliver through strong operations, incredible guest experience, and compelling visual merchandising. The Style team is passionate about Apparel & Accessories (A&A) and brings the energy of style to life with in‑store presentations that enable quick and easy self‑discovery. They are welcoming and helpful on the sales floor and in the fitting room and provide assistance with outfitting, accessorizing, and basket building to drive top‑line sales.

- Retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing, and promotion strategies.
- Planning department(s) daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.
- Leading a team of hourly team members; selecting, developing, coaching, evaluating, and retaining talent.
- Understand sales goals, plan daily/weekly workload, and execute to deliver on department and store sales goals and guest engagement, including merchandising, pricing, and events.
- Lead a team of consultants who are knowledgeable and passionate about Apparel & Accessories, ensuring they are educated on our brands and assortment offerings.
- Model and demonstrate a safety culture, identifying and correcting hazards, holding the team accountable to safety expectations, and assisting with incident response.
- Lead the apparel backroom process, including sort, backroom organization, and replenishment of the sales floor to support replenishment, fulfillment, and guest needs.
- Plan and validate floorpad sets, ensuring visual merchandising guides, transitions, revisions, and sales plans are set accurately and teams are following remerchandising best practices.
- Establish routines to ensure fitting rooms are welcoming, clean, and safe for our team members and guests.
- Work a schedule aligned to guest and business needs (early morning, evening, overnight, and weekends).
- Model and demonstrate a culture of executing all best practices in onboarding and learning, helping close skill gaps through development, coaching, and team interactions.
- Model the execution of physical security processes to enhance the in‑store security culture.
- Support merchandise protection strategies across the total store, including storage and application as directed by best practices.
- Model creating a welcoming experience by greeting guests and thanking them as you and your team complete daily tasks.
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes guest service. Model, train, and coach team member expectations to deliver the service standard.
- Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and approaches, being authentic and respectful, and creating equitable experiences.
- Lead by thanking guests and letting them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
- Address all store emergency and compliance needs.
- Support guest services such as back‑up cashier, order pick‑up (OPU), and Drive‑up (DU) while maintaining a compliance culture and executing duties such as compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws.
