Journeyman Estimator (Local 125) - Bend, Oregon

Pacific Power is seeking a Journeyman Estimator to join our team in Bend, Oregon. The position is full‑time and part of the Power Delivery department.

• Perform all estimating functions identified in the apprenticeship curriculum or equivalent experience.
• Apply intermediate electrical theory knowledge and detailed understanding of construction specifications, electrical codes, and rate and service policies.
• Conduct field surveys, prepare right‑of‑way permits, crossing and conflict documents, and expenditure requisitions.
• Assist in preparing district annual budgets as assigned.
• Pass the Estimator exam within six months of the start date.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education/experience.
• Completion of an Estimator apprenticeship program or equivalent education and experience.
• Basic knowledge of electric theory and operations plus thorough knowledge of construction specifications, electrical codes, mapping systems, and line extension policies and tariffs.

• Prior experience as an Estimator.
• At least two years of customer service experience.
• Familiarity with the Electric Service Requirements Manual and IBEW Local 125 Working Agreement.
