The King John School is looking for Exam Invigilators to oversee our exams procedures. You need to be reliable, punctual, highly flexible, able to work in a team and to follow instructions from the Exams Officer.

The ability to work in a calm and quiet manner is necessary and the ability to be able to support students on a one to one basis during their exams to assist with scribing/reading would be desirable.

All examinations are held in term time between 8.30am - 4.30pm. You will be required to work either a morning or afternoon invigilation session. Our main exam season is May to June however we also have pre-public exams that are held throughout the year and invigilators are required for these as well, so flexibility is essential.

You will need to strive to demonstrate, embed and uphold the school's PRIDE core values of Positivity, Resilience, Integrity, Dignity and Equality in order to support the character development of all students.

Previous experience would be a distinct advantage but full training will be given.
