Finance Officer

We're looking for a detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our team on a fixed-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in local government finance or return to work after a career break.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process financial transactions and maintain accurate records
• Assist with budget monitoring and reporting
• Support the preparation of financial statements
• Respond to financial queries from staff and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
