HR Advisor 12 month FTC

Location: Benfleet, Essex Salary: Up to £30,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am 5:00pm

One to One Recruitment is delighted to partner with a dynamic and growing organisation in search of an experienced HR Advisor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact, providing expert HR support and guidance across multiple campuses.

As the first point of contact for all HR queries, you ll play a key role in delivering clear, consistent, and professional advice while driving initiatives that enhance employee experience and wellbeing.

What you ll be doing

  • Act as the go-to advisor for HR queries, offering guidance on disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence, and performance management.
  • Coach and support managers on policies, procedures, probation, and appraisals.
  • Champion wellbeing initiatives and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Manage absence processes and liaise with external partners when required.
  • Produce accurate HR reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
  • Lead the annual appraisal cycle and ensure timely completion.
  • Handle a high volume of HR enquiries with efficiency and care.
  • Support recruitment activities and deliver engaging staff inductions.
  • Prepare HR documentation, including contracts and payroll inputs.
  • Contribute to policy reviews and process improvements.
  • Provide cross-campus HR support and assist with ad hoc projects.

What we re looking for

  • CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience as an HR Advisor with strong employee relations knowledge.
  • Solid understanding of employment legislation.
  • Experience in HR administration, including payroll processes.
  • Skilled in reviewing and updating policies and procedures.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
