This is a full-time job giving you the opportunity to learn a skill set alongside experienced industry professionals where the learning is completed during your employment whilst you are earning a wage.
Summary of the apprenticeshipKick start your HGV career with us as a HGV Cat C, Urban Driver. Based at our Canvey Island site, you will be working as a 3.5 tonne driver collecting vehicles, working towards obtaining a Level 2 (CAT
C) HGV driver Apprenticeship qualification.
- Collect allocated vehicles from client and customer locations
- Load, secure and unload vehicles safely
- Follow all legal and company driving regulations
- Accurately measure and record vehicle heights before every journey
- Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues
- Maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and customer service
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Safety-first mindset with excellent attention to detail
- Self‑motivated, organised, and reliable

The HGV Driver Apprentice (CAT
C) apprenticeship will take approx. 8 months to complete. You will complete LGV driving lessons which will enable you to drive heavy goods vehicles on completion of your test.
