Press Brake Operator

Tymetal Corp. is actively seeking a Press Brake Operator to join our team. Our Press Brake Operator will be involved in the fabrication process of a variety of highway equipment and custom metal fabrication products. This individual will cut, bend and punch materials according to shop drawings and will operate a 1-ton jib crane. Our Press Brake Operator may also operate a variety of other machinery, tools, and equipment used in the cutting area.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read shop drawings.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent math skills, including a complete understanding of measurements and angles.
• Outstanding safety record.
• At least one year of experience operating a press brake.
• One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• The ability to work in other areas of the manufacturing facility.
• Must be able to lift and carry as well as push and pull weights of up to 50 lbs.
• The ability to access equipment at various levels by reaching or climbing a ladder, bend over, walk, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.
• The ability to withstand exposure to dust, fumes and chemicals such as oil, grease, vehicle exhaust, steel and aluminum welding fumes, etc.
