Tymetal Corp. is actively seeking a Press Brake Operator to join our team. Our Press Brake Operator will be involved in the fabrication process of a variety of highway equipment and custom metal fabrication products. This individual will cut, bend and punch materials according to shop drawings and will operate a 1-ton jib crane. Our Press Brake Operator may also operate a variety of other machinery, tools, and equipment used in the cutting area.
We are looking for a safety focused individual who takes pride in their work and has a strong attention to detail.

- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read shop drawings.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent math skills, including a complete understanding of measurements and angles.
- Outstanding safety record.
- At least one year of experience operating a press brake.
- One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- The ability to work in other areas of the manufacturing facility.
- Must be able to lift and carry as well as push and pull weights of up to 50 lbs.
- The ability to access equipment at various levels by reaching or climbing a ladder, bend over, walk, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.
- The ability to withstand exposure to dust, fumes and chemicals such as oil, grease, vehicle exhaust, steel and aluminum welding fumes, etc.
