Car Loader and Unloader

Overview:

Car Loaders and Unloaders are responsible for driving vehicles off and on railcars, then parking them in an appropriate lot for inventory and quality control review.

• Valid Driver’s License
• A willingness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift 40lbs overhead while standing
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs both off and on railcars
• Manual transmission experience preferred, but not required
• Open availability required (all shifts, weekends, and holidays)
• Must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical, and drug screening.

The Federal Rail Administration sets and enforces safety regulations and standards for railroad operations. Use of cannabis is strictly prohibited. If applicable for the position you are applying to, and if you are offered the position, you will have to take and pass a drug screen.
