. Carlie C's IGA is seeking an experienced butcher for an immediate opening. The role requires prior experience cutting all cuts of beef, pork, and chicken in a grocery store meat market environment. The ideal candidate is proficient in using band saws, slicers, cubers, grinders, knives, wrapping skills, and maintaining all sanitation and safety requirements. This is a full‑time position (40 hours per week) including weekend work and most holidays.

• Cutting, grinding, slicing, trimming, weighing, sealing, packaging, and labeling product.
• Unload trucks and store products in the proper location.
• Check product dates and rotate inventory appropriately.
• Sanitize and clean equipment.
• Keep meat department floors clean of clutter.
• Assist customers in finding products and wait on them at the counter promptly and cheerfully.

• Must be able to lift 80 lbs with no assistance.
• Must be at least 18 years of age, friendly, outgoing, neat and clean in appearance.
• Must enjoy working with the public.
• Must be very customer oriented.
• Must be able to read shelf tags, labels and signs.
• Must have a good work record as a butcher.
