** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization in accordance with site requirements.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; contact appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.

+ Maintain assigned equipment, including authorized firearm and related gear, in accordance with applicable laws, company policy, and site procedures.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ X-ray screening experience is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
