Join us as a Floater Teacher Assistant to support classroom operations across our 15 facilities and help children feel welcome, valued, comfortable, and secure. • Education: Cooperate with the teacher and/or manager to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations. Provide teachers with breaks, cover meetings, replenish food, assist with cleaning, and substitute in the classroom as needed.
• Classroom activities: Supervise play and group activities, help children participate in individual activities, observe and report behaviors, and support teaching teams.
• Classroom and facility maintenance: Clean the classroom, sweep floors, bag trash, shut lights, air‑conditioners, and windows, lock doors, conduct playground safety checks, assist with kitchen duties, and maintain common areas.
• Documentation: Ensure compliance with Office of Head Start and Child Care Licensing regulations. Maintain Bright Futures Quality Credential, assist teachers with case notes, and manage child sign‑in/out procedures.
• Bus monitor: Assist children to seat, secure harnesses, maintain bus safety, engage children during routes, clean the bus, and support driver checks and evacuation drills.

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Must hold a valid Child Development Associate Certification (CDA) or Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education (AA) or be enrolled in a program leading to a CDA or AA within 2 years of employment start date.
• Valid driver’s license.
