Job Location:
Vishay Tansitor is located in Bennington, VT and is the world’s number one manufacturer of wet tantalum and conformal-coated capacitors worldwide. Tansitor has approximately 100 employees between 3 shifts. Pay is $80,000-$95,000.
- Develop, implement, and maintain efficient and effective manufacturing processes for Wet Tantalum capacitors.
- Conduct process capability studies and implement process improvement initiatives.
- Test and qualify new processes/ raw materials.
- Analyze process data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve process-related issues and improve product quality.
- Develop and implement process documentation and work instructions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial, Materials science, Chemical or Electrical Engineering.
- 1-5 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the electronics industry.
- Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and lean manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
