Behavior Technician; RBT

Base pay range:

$18.00/hr - $24.00/hr

• Provide in-person behavior intervention services in a child’s home setting and in the community, such as a childcare setting.
• Collect and record data on therapy goals.
• Help create program materials for your clients.
• Assist in developing activities targeted at improving current and future behaviors.
• Receive weekly supervision from a highly experienced BCBA.

• Minimum high‑school degree or equivalent; ideally suited for candidates interested in pursuing careers within the field.
• Experience working with children, and a passion for working with children with developmental disabilities.
• Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Demonstrate a high level of patience and empathy, as well as an understanding.
• Reliable transportation.
• A think‑outside‑the‑box personality to make therapy fun for your clients.
• Professional social skills to interact with and support caregivers.
• Active RBT certification (preferred, but training available).
• Active CPR certification (required; training available).
• Must pass a background check (a requirement from the funding source).

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
• Sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time.

  Monday to Friday. Mornings (9 am – 1 pm) and late afternoon (3 – 5:30 pm); weekends as needed.
• Expected hours:
  Less than 30 hours per week.
