LPN or Medical Assistant Dermatology

Position Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant, under a provider's direction, is responsible for providing individualized, goal-directed, nursing-process based care/services to patients.

Perform nursing and medical assistant duties to support patient care as directed by the provider. Provide individualized, goal-directed care and services to patients.

• Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing or an accredited medical assisting program (CMA certification preferred).
• Prior clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain a valid Vermont State Practical Nurse License or CMA certification by date of employment.
• Health Care Provider BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
