Qualifications

Under the direction of the Director of Children, Youth, and Family Services (CYFS), the Clinical Manager – Specialty Services will provide oversight, guidance, and clinical supervision to the staff of the programs identified within CYFS, which includes clinicians, coordinators, and case managers. This role facilitates easy access, timely response, and flexibility to service delivery in the community, home, and/or office.

Major Responsibilities

Administration and Supervision: Actively manage program requirements and activities; oversee the daily workflow of the program; participate in quality improvement and assurance activities, including tracking and reporting on quality measures and staff KPIs throughout the program.

Provide leadership to employees within the program; provide direct supervision for all program staff, including timesheet review and approval, bi‑weekly supervision meetings, work assignments and direction, performance management, and staff performance reviews. Monitor agency, division, and position‑specific KPIs and discuss with staff. Participate in the recruiting process and make hiring decisions. Coordinate onboarding and training programs for new staff and identify training needs for current staff.

Attend all UCS and community meetings necessary to promote coordination and communication.

Direct Clinical Services: Provide assessment, therapeutic case management, and counseling to children and families suffering from mental health and/or substance use disorders. Services may include individuals, families or couples, and/or group therapy. Participate in intensive services, collaborate with state partners, and facilitate or assign Coordinated Services Plans. Coordinate services with other agencies and providers. Facilitate appropriate referrals for other services when necessary.

Participate in the annual 5‑week summer Camp Be A Kid program as program staff.
