Executive Director

Brookdale Fillmore Pond – Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care – located in Bennington, Vermont, serving 101 units is hiring an Executive Director
.

Job Description

The Executive Director leads the day‑to‑day operations of a community with 60‑65 to 175 units across up to two product lines. The role is responsible for associate relations, resident and family engagement, financial performance, and regulatory compliance. The Executive Director develops and executes measurable business plans in partnership with district teams, drives sales results, and creates an inclusive community culture that provides high‑quality resident experiences and care.

Responsibilities
  • Lead all operations, interacting with staff, residents, prospects and their families.
  • Develop and implement community business plans, create and analyze annual operating and capital budgets, manage performance against goals, and set plans to improve service and financial standards.
  • Build and maintain a strong collaborative culture, empower department leaders, and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain high‑quality associates; analyze retention trends and implement strategies to reduce turnover.
  • Maintain resident satisfaction and retention, manage resident services, and ensure clinical care and documentation meet standards and regulations.
  • Demonstrate strong financial acumen, develop and execute budgets, proactively address short‑falls, and pursue revenue enhancement.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing leaders to meet occupancy 大圣 and revenue targets, build relationships with local influencers, andاكم represent the community locally.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance and property standards, enforce company policies, and maintain required licenses.
Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; at least three years of operational leadership experience required. Additional experience may substitute for education on a year‑for‑year basis.

Certifications, Licenses, and Other Requirements

  • Valid  license in required states.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a private vehicle for business use.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills combined with solid industry knowledge.
  • Leadership experience managing multiple departments and coordinating resident care, marketing, food service, housekeeping, and maintenance units.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to delegate assignments to the appropriate individuals based on their skills, roles, and interests.
