Position: Licensed Nursing Assistant Trainee (FREE TRAINING)

YOU have an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest-growing fields in the country! The Center for Living & Rehabilitation offers a FREE, Limited Class size, Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) training program. Once the class is completed you will work as an LNA at The Center for Living & Rehabilitation. Let this be the first step to your healthcare career!

Qualifications

for Our Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) Training Program
  • High-school diploma or equivalent
  • Compassion for the elderly
  • Work at our facility as a full-time LNA upon completion of the program for at least one year
  • Must be willing to stay on as a part of our team for a minimum of 2 years
  • Able to attend the FULL LNA Class, details will be given upon interview
Responsibilities of Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA)
  • Help residents with day-to-day activities such as bathing, grooming, meals, dressing, etc. under the direction of a nurse
  • Maintain patient comfort and safety
  • Document vital signs, weight, meal intake, bowel and bladder, etc.
  • Assist with Restorative Nursing duties
  • Answer call lights promptly
  • Performs LNA skills
  • Observe and adhere to all facility safety policies and procedures
  • Identify safety hazards and emergencies and help initiate corrective action
  • Identify special resident problems, report them immediately to the nurse, and take an active role in helping problem solve to resolve the issues
  • Review resident profiles and perform nursing care as outlined
  • Observe infection control procedures
  • Ambulates and transfers resident per their transfer policy
  • Restock supplies for the next shift
