The Order Entry Clerk is responsible for entering orders and information into the company’s operating systems, answering and processing incoming phone calls from customers and other departments, and assisting with projects and clerical duties as needed.

• Enter and acknowledge orders placed via fax, mail, and e-mail
• Answer incoming phone calls, qualify those calls, and forward them to the appropriate personnel/department
• Assist Sales department with a wide variety of projects as assigned
• Perform clerical and office duties as needed to support Sales or other departments within the organization
• Assist customers with use and navigation of the company’s website and catalog
• Handle literature requests for pricing, data sheets and other requested information
• Monitor and release web orders as required
• Retrieve and accurately enter orders received via customer’s electronic PO portal, acknowledging as necessary
