Customer Service Rep, HelpDesk/Support, Technical Support
Summary: The Shipping Administrator oversees the logistical aspects of outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and process parts order requests from the previous day and current morning.
- Confirm any scheduled customer pickups for parts or equipment.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding parts for service or repair.
- Manage all shipping and receiving activities for the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate with new hires on service labels and work with the Purchasing Department to order necessary parts.
- Support technicians by providing Service Calls (SC’s) and Service Repair (SR’s) and entering related parts into ASW.
- Process advance replacements for Gaming and Amusement technicians as needed.
- Handle customer service inquiries for VGT and Coin-Op products, including warranty claims (within 90 days).
- Answer customer phone calls and emails regarding parts availability, order status, and shipping details.
- Place and track orders through ASW and follow up with manufacturers as required.
- Review and update open order reports on a daily and weekly basis.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation as directed by management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts department and office area.
- Collaborate with other departments and provide support during periods of low workload.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of customer service experience preferred.
- College degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
- Computer / internet usage experience required.
- Reliable transportation.
- Communication – Strong phone contact handling and active listening skills.
- Strong Time Management – ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Excellent Customer Service – Strives to exceed customer needs at every interaction.
- Goal Oriented – Desire to excel in a fast-paced environment and advance within the company.
- Interpersonal Skills – good at communicating and relating well to all kinds of people.
