Import​/Export Agent

$37 – $41/Hour – Plus full benefits

We’re a growing company focused on international trade, logistics, and global sourcing. Working with suppliers and business partners around the world, we coordinate the movement of products across international borders, helping ensure shipments arrive efficiently and on schedule.

As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for an Import/Export Agent to join our team. In this role, you’ll serve as a key point of contact for customers while coordinating international shipments from start to finish. You’ll work closely with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, and transportation providers to keep shipments on track, provide timely updates, and resolve issues along the way.

We’re looking for someone who is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable balancing multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Manage the day-to-day coordination of import and export shipments, from initial shipment arrangements through final delivery.
• Work with suppliers, freight forwarders, and transportation providers to arrange transportation and keep shipments moving according to schedule.
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively communicate delays, schedule changes, or other issues to customers and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate shipment information, update the transportation management system (TMS), and keep records organized.
• Identify and resolve shipment discrepancies, delivery challenges, and communication gaps to help ensure a smooth customer experience.

• 2 years of logistics experience within a similar role
• TMS experience
• Ability to prioritize in fast paced environments
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers
