The Supply Chain Specialist will support supply chain operations and ensure the timely availability of materials needed to meet production demands. This role works closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams to maintain inventory levels, improve supplier performance, and support overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure on-time delivery, product quality, and cost-effective procurement.
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust purchasing plans based on customer forecasts and production requirements.
- Analyze purchasing data, inventory reports, and material requirements to support production schedules and safety stock targets.
- Manage supplier returns and resolution of non-conforming or defective materials.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and other internal teams to address material availability, project needs, and supply chain challenges.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or materials management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of an organization.
- Highly organized with excellent project management and multitasking abilities.
- Experience utilizing ERP systems for purchasing and inventory management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for reporting and data analysis.
Salary Range: $80,000-$100,000
